| Triple lock karabiners are opened by a slide, twist, push motion | The Tower uses Figure eights as the decending device | There are two types of ropes on the Tower. The abseil lines are static or low-stretch ropes while the safety & climbing are dynamic or stretchy ropes. They are all kermantle ropes that have sheath around a core made from many thin cords.
